As we progress through 2012 more and more new artists come to my attention. Oh my fucking god!

Reduce “talent” to a 3 minute segment, between ad breaks on ITV. With fuckwit Judges who wouldn’t know skill if it took a piss on them… And you get Simon Cowells latest money spinner (no pun int) show.

Reuters claim this is SiCo’s newest project and I can tell you now that if you like the kind of thing I do, you will hate this.

Why? Because it will be full of DMC scratch DJ’s who are all so off their tits they won’t make sense when interviewed by Dermot O’Leary. If he’s stupid enough to be involved?! Dubstep nutters who will play all over 20 secs of a track before ‘dropping the next bomb’

I like some dubstep, don’t get me wrong. But I like the whole track, thanks.

How can you possibly represent all types of music and DJ skills in this way? How could you show the skill in choosing your tracks for a set? The order they go and how and when to mix them?

In this format (X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent), there is no way! Don’t think it will be any different, this is Simon Cowell and ITV after all. Keep flogging the format until it’s deader than roadkill. FFS even Channel 4 dumped Big Brother when they knew it was a dead show, oh and Channel 5 picked it up. Says it all doesn’t it?!

Late but sounding great! This is a more hyper-melodic mix. If there can be such a thing. Very souful tracks but played the way God intened, at 140BPM. So strap in for new tunes in 2012 and make sure its as good as 2011 was. This mix also includes the longest track name…ever!

Influenced Running Man

This Sunday, we celebrate the birthday of one of the worlds finest trance producers. Running Man has been legendary in 2010 and 2011 with his massive remixes turning vocal and uplifting anthems into fully fledged bounding tracks. His own productions have been no exception, reeking havoc around the world and really pushing Russian producing talent to the masses.
